A new date for the dedication of the Martin Luther King Memorial in Washington D.C. has been set for Sunday, October 16th.
The dedication was originally set for August 28th, the 48th Anniversary of King's famous "I Have a Dream" speech, but had to be postponed due severe whether conditions caused by Hurricane Irene.
The October 16th date marks the 16th anniversary of the 1995 Million Man March which took place on the National Mall.
President Obama is scheduled to speak on the October 16th date.
